Weekend impulse purchases ✨
We'll call them: impulse *upgrades*
Every once in a while I get the urge to raid my own Etsy favorites list and select a few choice items to treat myself to. This weekend was one of those times.
Here’s what I bought:
I used to have a jute rug in my kitchen, which I eventually had to get rid of because one of my ultra powerful vacuums was a little too rough on it (lmao). I miss it.
But since this exact one is no longer being sold, I decided to switch it up and do the diamond one below. It’s so pretty! The only thing it’s missing is some fringe on either end, so I’m already brainstorming how to make that happen asap.
I guess I’m in the mood to make some little changes in my kitchen—because I also decided that it’s time to swap out this curtain next to my fridge that hides my cleaning supplies:
Instead, I ordered the pretty blue and white fabric below—it’s giving delft tile—and am planning to have it hemmed to turn it into the perfect custom curtain.
And listen, I get that both of these curtains have very similar vibes, but sometimes you’re just ready for a little change. And there’s something about this one that just feels like it will look more at home in my kitchen.
Okay, one more thing for the kitchen. The backside of my kitchen island has felt a little bare to me, and I’m always looking for places to hang more kitchen towels, so I figured this would be the perfect spot:
To accomplish this, I ordered a stunning brass rail, and am soo excited to get it installed. I absolutely love the shape of the mounting pieces on either end.
Next, I’ve been looking for a new vessel to store my makeup brushes, since the one I’ve been using recently cracked 😅:
I came across this gorgeous piece yesterday and immediately purchased. The shape, the color, the design—all perfection.
Okay, these last two were true impulse purchases in that I have no actual need for either one. But I recently came across them both, and as I was perusing my favorites list this weekend, I just couldn’t resist.
First up: an ornate serving spoon and fork set for $26. Like, are you kidding me?

And finally, this dainty baguette tennis bracelet. The stones are cubic zirconia so it was already pretty affordable to begin with, but it was also on major sale. Under $50 for this little beauty??? I just had to do it. Hopefully it looks just as pretty IRL. 🤞
