✨Ask The Bird✨: Submit your space for home decor & interior design advice!

I'm starting a new series and I'm v excited about it.

I often get DMs on Instagram from people wanting to consult with me on what they should do design-wise in their space. And while I don’t currently offer any formal design services (I’m not a professional designer—just a girl who’s obsessed with interiors), I’ve definitely pondered what it could look like to have a series where I do just that.

And now that I’m here on Substack (hi, everyone 🥹), I’m realizing that this kind of feels like the perfect format in which to finally do it.

So let’s try it.

I imagine the vibe will be really casual. Fun. I might include some product links, inspo photos, mood boards, etc. We’ll see where the wind takes us!

Here’s how it will work:

• Anyone who’s interested will submit their design/decor question along with a few well-lit photos of their space to askthebird@brigettemuller.com. I’ll be accepting submissions on an ongoing basis.

• I’ll choose a space to feature based on things like whether it might make for an interesting post; whether our interior styles feel aligned; whether I have meaningful ideas that could help solve the question being posed

• Once the post goes live, it will be available for all paid subscribers—who will all be welcome and encouraged to comment with their own ideas for the featured space as well 💞

• And, if all goes well, we’ll rinse and repeat!

So if you’d be interested in hearing my input on your space, please send your submission to the email below! Again, anyone is welcome to submit, but the posts themselves will be reserved for the (✨beautiful/sweet/smart/funny/kind✨) subscribers who have opted into a paid subscription.
